These appointments can take up to 60 minutes. Your partner (if any) is highly encouraged to attend the initial appointment, and will also be required to obtain a GP referral. Anju will take a thorough history, perform a gynaecological examination if required and review all the investigations already performed for both yourself and your partner (if any). She may then order more investigations as required based on your requirement. Further appointments may then be organised to discuss results and plan treatment as necessary.

Your initial visit is for approximately 30 minutes. At this visit Anju will take a thorough history, perform a gynaecological examination is (if indicated) and review any investigations already performed. More investigation may be ordered if required. Clear expert advice is given whilst discussing your management options. Minor procedures such as Mirena insertions can be performed in the consulting rooms. These appointments can range from 20-30mins.

We understand without Medicare it can be a frustrating process to need to receive a GP referral prior to seeing Dr Agarwal . However a referral letter is an important document in your health care journey and provides us with necessary information such as past medical conditions, prior results/investigations, general health history and a full outline of your current condition. This also provides a gateway should you require ongoing services such as repeat scripts, or a condition that can be refereed back to the GP for ongoing management. As such, yes - we do require a GP referral for all patients, regardless of Medicare status.

We can offer a 10% discount to blue pension care holders. We are required to sight this card to apply the discount to your fees. Unfortunately we cannot provide a discount for health care card holders.

We accept EFTPOS and credit card payments. If you would like to pay via Direct deposit or cheque you must contact us 1-2 weeks prior to your appointment to allow time for processing. These payments must be cleared prior to your consultation. If you have queries regarding the fees, please contact our rooms prior to your appointment.

This procedure typically starts from $450 with Medicare rebates available. Procedure fees can differ depending upon the applicable item numbers and type of procedure undertaken. Please ring our rooms for detailed information.

Fees for the Mirena procedure can differ depending on if you have previously consulted with Dr Agarwal for the Mirena, or if you are a new patient having the procedure done on the day of your initial consultation. As an indication of fees: New Patients: = approximately $415 payable on day. We will lodge a Medicare Rebate on your behalf, of which you should receive approximately $212 back. Previous Patients: = approximately $365 payable on day. We will lodge a Medicare Rebate on your behalf, of which you should receive approximately $173 back. Procedure fees can differ depending upon the applicable item numbers and type of procedure undertaken.
