These appointments can take up to 60 minutes. Your partner (if any) is highly encouraged to attend the initial appointment, and will also be required to obtain a GP referral. Anju will take a thorough history, perform a gynaecological examination if required and review all the investigations already performed for both yourself and your partner (if any). She may then order more investigations as required based on your requirement. Further appointments may then be organised to discuss results and plan treatment as necessary.

Your initial visit is for approximately 30 minutes. At this visit Anju will take a thorough history, perform a gynaecological examination is (if indicated) and review any investigations already performed. More investigation may be ordered if required. Clear expert advice is given whilst discussing your management options. Minor procedures such as Mirena insertions can be performed in the consulting rooms. These appointments can range from 20-30mins.

Click here for more information regarding colposcopy Consultation fees when procedures are involved depends upon the number and type of procedure taken. The standard fee for this appointment type is $350, but can differ depending if biopsies are required or not.

We understand without Medicare it can be a frustrating process to need to receive a GP referral prior to seeing Dr Agarwal . However a referral letter is an important document in your health care journey and provides us with necessary information such as past medical conditions, prior results/investigations, general health history and a full outline of your current condition. This also provides a gateway should you require ongoing services such as repeat scripts, or a condition that can be refereed back to the GP for ongoing management. As such, yes - we do require a GP referral for all patients, regardless of Medicare status.

This is a private billing practice, and we do not bulk bill. Payment is due via eftpos/credit card on the day or service at completion of your appointment. Please kindly note we do not accept Cheques or Cash. If you are unable to pay on the day, we kindly ask that you contact us in advance to reschedule your appointment.
